Hi! Another great show guys. I just have to say that I agree about Nim Deathmantle being awesome and underrated. I have already gotten great use out of it. However, Mimic Vat is slightly better. I'm starting to think Mimic Vat is THE best EDH card in Scars... it's that stinkin' good.
ReplyDeleteBeen listening for a few episodes now, and I've gotta say - this podcast single handedly hyper-activated my love for EDH again. (Er... Commander, excuse me.) Keep up the phenomenal work, guys. I'll be be recommending this to all my friends for sure.
ReplyDeleteI have just one other comment to make: Andy, you do yourself great disservice by not watching Gundam Unicorn. Please watch it. On Blu-ray, if possible.

ReplyDeleteGood to hear you're liking the show. I have to say I am finding Mimic Vat is good in any deck but it generally speaking feels 'fair'. Nim Deathmantle feels far more degenerate when you can set it up properly, but this is trickier. The Vat is easier to get more mileage out of for sure though. My man Anthony is rolling Deathmantle in his new mono-B Voltron deck and that thing is disgusting sick, any game he draws it, that thing is a huge problem and demands an answer. Vats... sometimes I can let them ride. Just my experience.

I want to thank you for taking the time to comment on the podcast. It might sound weird but I know we have a good number of people visit the site, but no idea whether they are listening to us, or liking the show and other content. Comments like yours are very encouraging. Spreading the word about our show even more so!
Also I refuse to watch Unicorn no matter how bad I want to until it's finished. I just finished watching Zeta Gundam again and now I think I'm going to go back and watch Turn A. By the time I'm done watching everything again maybe Unicorn will be finished.
