We are recording our second call-in episode. Back in S2E12, we gave this a whirl for the first time and it was totally awesome so it only makes sense to revisit the concept. If you like CommanderCast and would like to make an appearance on the show, this is an ideal opportunity to come on and talk Commander with us. If you're interested, here's how we make it happen...
You need:
1) To be a legal adult wherever you live. If you sound too young to me, I hate to say it but I reserve the right to boot your ass off the show before we start.
2) A microphone of reasonable quality. I'm not exactly expecting you to have studio-quality equipment, but we can't have everyone sounding like drunken robots.
3) Broadband internet. If your internet is on some AOL dial-up shit then this won't work because your quality is going to be really low.
4) Rudimentary English skills. If I can't understand you, well... this probably won't work out.
There are some lofty requirements, I know. But if you can somehow meet them, then here's the next step: e-mail me, CommanderCast(at)gmail(dot)com with the following information:
- Your name
- Your Skype ID
- The topic you would like to discuss
That's all you need to give me. I'm taking nine guest hosts on this episode, and they're being taken on a first-come, first-serve basis so get your e-mails in. If you've been on CommanderCast before, you'll also be preempted by people who haven't been, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't at least try to get on the show this time around because I have no idea how many/few people will apply for a spot.
The format will be the same as last season; two guests will have active microphones at any given time, along with myself and another CommanderCast host. We will discuss your topic for ten minutes before cycling in a new guest and a new topic. This does mean you will probably be sitting around for a while with a muted microphone, which is inconvenient, but unfortunately thems the ropes (software limitations).
If you think your schedule will be open at this time, then get at me: CommanderCast(at)gmail(dot)com and LETS GET IT!
